Outdoors – whether you choose to visit Lake Placid (45 miles) with its multitude of 1980 Winter Olympic event locations, white water raft down the Hudson River (10 miles), take a cruise aboard the Mini-HaHa in Lake George (25miles), or play 9 rounds of golf at our local course (2 miles), you have a myriad of choices to choose from and a way to enjoy the great outdoors of the Adirondack country.

History – our region is rich in history and, whether you plan to visit the Fort in Ticonderoga (23 miles) to re-enact the revolutionary war, take a trip to Crowne Point/Lake Champlain and visit the Lighthouse (28 miles), spend time at the Shelburne museum (59 miles), or visit the Adirondack Museum (50 miles) and the Wild Center (69 miles) to learn more about the Adirondack wilderness, they all are within an hour and half of travel time for your enjoyment.

Arts & Culture – if you are interested in music and theatre, our own Seagle Music Colony (3 miles) celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2015 or you can chose from the numerous productions at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) that’s just 50 miles to our south. If you’d like to spend a day with our neighbors to the north, the multi-cultural city of Montreal is just 2 hours from The Adirondack Inn.
