Built over 100's year ago, the Inn has many historical references throughout its time.  It was once known as the Brown Swan Tea Room, where ladies could partake in “high tea” and share time together before attending the formal dinner party at the Brown Swan Club.  The Inn also housed seven Specialty Shops that visitors could stroll through and find a variety of unique and handmade items for sale.  In addition to the eight rooms, we live onsite and our personal living space was previously the local post office and in most recent years, the property was a motel and known as the Yellow Coach.

 

The historic charm of the Inn and the community of Schroon Lake drew us in and we began a significant renovation of the property. Our goal was to keep the historic charm, while improving upon the character and amenities the property had to offer.  We have seven Adirondack themed rooms and a two-bedroom second floor suite and have the perfect location for you to relax and enjoy the beauty of Adirondacks.  We look forward to hosting your visit and are open May through October.
